Common questions

What is PickPulse X?

A statistical read on upcoming basketball games: each team's chance to win, the likely score and total, and an 80% range that shows how uncertain the result is. It is analysis, not advice, and makes no guarantees.

Do I need an account?

No. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking.

How often are forecasts updated?

Every day. As a game gets close, injury reports are added and the numbers can shift. One last update runs shortly before each game starts.

Why does a forecast change?

New results, injury reports and the schedule all feed into it. A change usually means something new became known.

Why does a game page say injuries may change?

Reports can change right up to tip-off. Games further away are built without injury information, so check back closer to the game.

What is the threshold explorer?

Pick any total or margin and see the chance that the game finishes above it, below it or exactly on it. The thresholds are yours; the chances come from the forecast.

What do the Board numbers mean?

Elo is a win/loss strength rating. Offense and defense are points scored and allowed per 100 possessions over a team's last 20 games. Net is offense minus defense. The Style view shows pace, shooting efficiency, turnovers, rebounding and free throws.

The app says it could not refresh.

Check your internet connection and reopen the app. Without a connection it shows the last forecasts it has, which may be out of date.

Is my data collected?

No. Read the full Privacy Policy.
